Witam
Proszę o polecenie usługodawcy sprzedającego certyfikat ssl.
Chciałbym wykupić certyfikat rapid ssl. Zauważyłem, że certyfikaty
różnią się cenowo. Czy przy zakupie certyfikatu powinieniem
zwrócić uwagę na coś jeszcze oprócz ceny ? :)

Na zastosowanie. Fx przykładowo nie zaakceptuje certyfikatu nie podpisanego przez
jednego z wbudowanych providerów w celu autoryzacji źródła rozszerzeń.
Po polsku - jeśli potrzebujesz aktualizować rozszerzenie do Fx używając do tego HTTPS,
to musisz mieć certyfikat podpisany przez jedną z dużych firm, które Fx ma "wbudowane"
(Verisign?). To chyba nazywa się "root certificates". Nawet ręczne wgranie i
zaakceptowanie twojego certyfikatu nic nie da.
Możliwe, że ten błąd występuje jeszcze w innych sytuacjach, więc lampka alarmowa -
certy nie dostarczone przez dużych graczy mogą powodować różneproblemy.

A nie chodzi przypadkiem o to, że ten certyfikat musi mieć pole ussage z
atrybutem "podpisywanie kodu" ?

Nie. To błąd zgłoszony i potwierdzony na bugzilli. Tzn, to nawet nie błąd,
to feature. ;)
