LAN i ginące połączenie
Witam,
Mam pewien wk...urzający ;) problem z siecią w pracy, męczę temat już od roku i nic nie mogę zdziałać. Wygląda to tak:
Mamy wynajęte biura w większym budynku, do nas "przychodzi" pojedyncza skrętka wpięta w switcha, ze switcha rozchodzi się sieć do kompów w biurach (ok. 15). U siebie nie mamy żadnego routera/serwera, serwer jest jeden dla całego budynku, jest tam DHCP, z którego dostajemy IP, nasz firma funkcjonuje jako osobna podsieć.
Na czym polega problem: na kompach w firmie i-net działa tak, że jak zapuszczę "ping 192.168.2.1 -t" i tak to sobie leci to neta mam (to jest adres bramy). Natomiast jeśli pinga nie puszczę to co chwilę tracę połączenie tzn. połączenie niby jest ale strony się nie otwierają, po zapuszczeniu pinga na nowo przez jakiś czas nie trafia on do celu. Goście od sieci twierdzą, że u nich jest wszystko OK a sprawdzali niby już ze 100 razy. Czy przyczyną takiego stanu może być marny switch? Mamy taki totalny badziew z Pronoxu co prawda ale jeszcze się nie spotkałem z sytuacją, żeby switch powodował takie problemy... z kolei jeśli nie switch i nie "serwer" to co może być przyczyną? Sytuacja jest że tak powiem "OS independent" tzn. na wszystkich OSach jest to samo (XP, Vista, 7-mka).

Ja bym rowniez obstawial na poczatek switcha lub jakis problem z polaczeniem tego switcha z dalsza infrastruktura.

Wpiłąbym coś pod kabel uplinkowy od switcha, tzn pominął go w komunikacji, aby sprawdzić, czy to rzeczywiście nie jest czasem wina switcha, ale sądzę, że może być problem niedokonfigurowanego firewalla.

No to pozostaje sprawdzić ten switch. Trochę to niewygodne (znaczy miejsce, gdzie się znajduje jest trudno dostępne = wysoko :P) ale cóż poradzić. Podobno już tam się ktoś kiedyś podłączał bezpośrednio i było OK ale z tym łączem tak jest, że bywają dni, że jest lepiej tzn. nie rozłącza tak często więc nie wiem czy to nie był taki właśnie dzień.
@Krizz: znaczy się firewall na serwerze tak? Być może coś przekombinowali, jest np. coś takiego, że jak włączę uTorrenta to chodzi przez jakieś 5 minut i tracę całkiem połączenie, dopiero po jakichś 10 minutach połączenie wraca. I dzieje się to automatycznie, bo kolesi, którzy niby się zajmują tą siecią widzę przez okno "w palarni" w tym czasie :P
No ale oni twierdzą, że u nich jest OK, najpierw u siebie wyeliminuję możliwości a potem znów do nich uderzę...

Wow, co to za instytucja, która pozwala na działanie klientom torrenta? Co to za firma, której informatycy przy takich problemach z siecią nic z tym nie robią. Może cały problem polega na tym, że sami zamulają całą sieć ściąganiem z torrentów :)

Właśnie niby nie pozwala, bo rozłącza :P Torrenty zapuściłem tylko dlatego, że pomyślałem, że może w ten sposób podtrzymam połączenie :D ale się nie udało.
Ale może być i tak, że to faktycznie oni zamulają, zamiast zrobić to porządnie to właściciel budynku zlecił opiekę nad siecią jednemu z najemców tylko dlatego, że prowadzi on handel internetowy więc "muszą się znać" :D
