Photoshop vs GIMP lub...
szukam konkretnych dowodow by udowodnic teorie
czesto powszechna wsrod fachowcow
ze dla obrobki zdjec nadaje sie tylko Photoshop i nie da sie go
zastapic niczym innym ani na licencjach GNU Open itp
czy rzeczywiscie tak jest?

Nie da siê zapewne jednoznacznie odpowiedzieæ. Ale pracujê z dzia³em
grafików i ¿aden z nich nie u¿ywa np. GIMPa, choæ ka¿dy deklaruje, ¿e
bardzo by chcia³... Zwykle s³yszê "próbowa³em u¿ywaæ GIMpa - dawa³em mu
kilka szans i zawsze wraca³em do fotoszopy".
Osobi¶cie nie lubiê Photoshopa, bo wychowa³em siê na Fireworks MX, który
jednak kosztowa³ mnie s³ono :/

Umiejêtno¶ci grafików, którzy potrafi± biegle korzystaæ z fotoszopa,
ale kiepsko sobie radz± z GIMP-em czy czym¶ innym. W zwi±zkuz tym ich
praca jest mniej wydajna, i w efekcie zanim siê naucz± firma straci
wiêcej ni¿ wynosi³aby licencja na PS.
(Co oczywi¶cie nie musi byæ prawd±, ale Tobie chodzi o osi±gniêcie
pewnego konkretnego celu a nie jakkolwiek definiowan±, rzekomo
obiektywn±, rzeczywisto¶æ.)

Dodatkowo wielokrotnie w firmie otrzymuje siê materia³y "z zewn±trz" lub
swoje PSDki przekazuje sie innej firmie/klientowi... import PSD do Gimpa
nie jest oczywi¶cie w 100% funkcjonalny.
Jaki¶ czas temu sam próbowa³em Gimpa, w moim przypadku poleg³ na
zamykaniu warstw w "foldery warstw". Przy du¿ym projekcie WWW nie by³em
w stanie opanowaæ ba³aganu w warstwach. Nie wiem, byæ mo¿e ju¿
uzupe³nili mo¿liwo¶ci layerów w tym zakresie.
Nie jestem przeciwnikiem Gimpa... ale w firmie prêdzej, czy pó¼niej
Fotoszp bêdzie potrzebny.

Argument jest jeden: ¿aden grafik dobrze znaj±cy gimpa i maj±cy talent
nie bêdzie chcia³ pracowaæ u Twojego szefa. Jest ich po prostu na
¶wiecie zbyt ma³o i podejrzewam, ze wszyscy s± juz zatrudnieni.
Jesli szef bedzie nadal sie upieral by nie kupowac PS - zwolnij sie z
pracy, jestes bowiem na ton±cym okrecie.
(zakladam ze wasza firma poza pisaniemm kodu zajmuje sie wlasnie tez
designem)

Zna kto¶ mo¿e jakie¶ narzêdzie/plugin do gimpa który by sobie z tym
lepiej radzi³ ni¿ domy¶lny? Np. ¿eby efekty by³y, ¿eby mo¿na teksty
edytowaæ (albo chocia¿ czcionkê sprawdziæ).

Rzuæ okiem na Sumo Paint. Online`yowy edytor we flash. Toczka w toczkê jak
photoshop. I w dodatku darmowy ;)
