It's Christmas Eve, and Casper the Friendly Ghost and his less-friendly pal, Hairy, are about to lose their favorite haunt to a bulldozer. Along comes a carload of classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters: Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear and Boo-Boo, and other ghosts of Saturday mornings past for many Baby Boomers. Casper's desire to have a real Christmas plays against Hairy's plan to scare the dickens out of everybody. Before you can say "Heavens to Murgatroyd," Santa rides in to sort it all out for the hapless 'toons. Fair warning: the writing and animation will probably make Boomer parents cringe, but Boomlets under 5 will enjoy the Christmas spirit imparted and the characters' distinctive voices.
